Despite more than $400 billion in annual donations to America’s charities, civic, and non-profit organizations, less than 2% of all gifts consist of real estate.

This low percentage is likely due to most charitable organizations hesitating to accept real property donations due to the associated liability and ongoing expenses, such as taxes, insurance, maintenance, and utility costs.

As specialists in the charitable gifting of real estate, the team at Quantum is dedicated to assisting non-profit organizations, donors. and their advisors with all aspects of the transaction. In addition to coordinating the marketing and sale process, our team employs specific strategies that can assist non-profit with the acceptance of real property gifts without liability or expense, while attempting to maximize benefits for the donor.

Upon completion of the property sale, the donor can direct how the cash proceeds are distributed – whether through full or partial donation to one or more charitable organizations, or distribution to specific heirs & beneficiaries.
